Eco e Narciso. Material Culture/Art has brought about the encounter between the themes covered by material culture and the contemporary visual arts, diving into the past and present Province of Turin peculiarities by the work of 18 artists, born between the 60’s and the 70’s, during an art residency at local museums and eco-museums. The wealth of cultural heritage of the area, through the artists’ work, acquires the possibility to have its say in the globalization process, offering, on the other hand, the opportunity for the local community to reflect on its own identity and to get closer to contemporary art.
